Just about everyone uses or has used Microsoft Paint at one time or another.
The program in itself is not feature rich but a handy utility to quickly make little edits to images when quality is not really an issue.
It is light weight, fast, free, comes with Microsoft Windows, and on its way out.
Microsoft have recently published a list of programs it is going to make obsolete and Microsoft Paint is right at the top of the pile of well known applications to get the axe.
Can I still use Microsoft Soft Paint
Although Microsoft Paint will no longer be default part of the Windows operating system you will still be able to download it through the Microsoft Store.
As PC users become more savvy Microsoft are hoping its customers will use Paint 3D rather than paint and with good reason.
What is I don’t like Paint 3D
My personal preference is GIMP.
Gimp is a great free image editor which can be downloaded from here and does a lot of what full fledged image creators do.
Gimp is not a complete package for creating and making high definition and 3D professional images but it does a lot more than Microsoft Paint and you will find it very easy to use with lots of updates.
Difference between Photoshop and Gimp
Although Gimp can do a lot of things, it is in its essence mostly used for editing images, not creating them.
There are many professional image creating suites out there such as Photoshop and Corel Draw which will do a much better job of creating images and making special effects, but they also come with an hefty price and massive download.
Microsoft Paint, 3D and Gimp are better used for manipulating images, adding a few effects, resizing or changing format etc.
